"Future Shock" was a dance show hosted by James Brown . It was similar to the hit 70s dance show, "Soul Train". There are dance contests with Brown as the judge. He does sit-down interviews with special guests and performs songs from the "Body Heat" album. The dance show was recorded at WTCG Studios in Atlanta , Georgia and was broadcasted around the time of James Brown's "Body Heat" album. This DVD features 2 episodes from the show. Each show is approximately 50min long. This is a must if you have any interest in a funky 70s time capsule.

This is an extremely rare Japanese import. This stunning video features all of James Brown's appearances from the 1970's on the TV dance show, Soul Train. All songs are performed live. See him perform hits such as, "Make it Funky", "Cold Sweat", "Pay Back", "Say it Loud", "Hot Pants" and more.
Also, contains a rare interview with Brown and his late son, Teddy Brown. Sweet Charles and Lynn Collins do a solo appearance of their own. Video quality is very good. Some Japanese subtitles when subjects are speaking but not during song performances. Audio is mono. This is a very enjoyable DVD and is a "must have" for collectors of rare James Brown footage.
